These 10ml PRP Balance Tubes can be used to counterbalance the weight of either a single or odd number of platelet rich plasma tubes inside a centrifuge. Simply fill up the Balance Tube with water until it matches the volume of collected blood inside the PRP tube and place both tubes across from one another inside a centrifuge. Balance Tubes eliminate the need to use more PRP tubes and collect more blood than necessary; by balancing out blood volume with water, they also ensure proper preparation of the centrifuge for PRP.
